Additional information on certain companies to which we entrust data processing

Like many other sites, we use specialized systems from companies, which may involve entrusting them with data processing. Some of these companies are outside the European Economic Area but are covered by the EU-US Privacy Shield program (www.privacyshield.gov/list).

These are advertising and analytical systems: Information about displays and clicks of our ads, as well as content viewed on our site, is collected on the servers of these companies. Thanks to cookies, and sometimes also to your email address and the fact that you log into these companies’ systems, they are able to link displays and clicks with previous visits.

Based on this, we evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing and may order the display of ads depending on what you previously viewed on our site (remarketing). However, this happens anonymously – we do not know whose data we are analyzing. Ads are displayed to a large group of anonymous users who meet specific criteria, and we do not know to whom specifically we are displaying this data.

These systems inform you about their privacy policy and give you control over what information advertisers can use:

Google: AdWords, Google Analytics (analytical and advertising features). You can check at any time what advertising information Google collects about you and block Google’s personalization of ads: adssettings.google.com. There is also an easy way to block tracking by Google Analytics: tools.google.com. We also use Google Signals, which, when linked to a Google account, allows us to obtain demographic data of users. We also collect data about the location and type of device of our users. We also use personalized ads that may be displayed to the user based on their activity on our site. However, none of the above allows for personal identification of the user.
